Our Sunday Brunch candles and wax melts are made with orange wax, the color of MS awareness. We top them off with a butterfly.. The butterfly is said to be the symbol to represent MS for a few reasons. One is that MRI scans have a black space in the center that look like a butterfly.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1946. Among many things, they have raised over $974 million for research, sponsor services to help those with MS (like providing cooling vest to help combat heat intolerance at no cost), and provide a wealth of knowledge on various topics. The National MS Society was the main resource for Meghan when figuring out which treatment option she preferred.

Multiple Sclerosis is a disease that impacts the brain and spinal cord. Something triggers the immune system to attack the myelin that protects your nerve fibers. This causes an interruption of signals to and from the brain.  While everyones exact symptoms vary from person to person, common symptoms can include numbness, tingling, mood changes, memory problems, pain, fatigue, blindness and/or paralysis. There are a handful of treatment options to help control symptoms, but there is no cure for MS.Â
