What is a safe scent? While all of fragrance oils used to make our candles and wax melts are 100% phthalate free, now 18/20 of our core scents are now "safe scents". What does that actually mean? A "safe scent" is free of carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, and acute toxins. A "safe scent" means you can burn your candles and not worry about these chemicals and toxins being released in to your home like you might have to with other candles and scents.
