Best Scents for Fall

Whether you decorate your home for the fall season or Halloween, the best finishing touch to your decorations is a fall inspired candle.
Personally, by early September our house is decorated for “Spooky Season”. We go for more of a general fall vibe than full Halloween. At just about any point of the day, we have some fall scents filling our home.

Tips for decorating with candles

Keep the flame clear of debris

If you like to have fake foliage as a part of your fall decorations, make sure that they are clear of the flame.

Match the scent to the atmosphere

We love our Banana Nut Bread candle in the kitchen for the fresh baked scent and our Campfire Marshmallow in the living room for a nice woodsy scent to make us feel cozy beside a fire.

Candles should be lit long enough to pool all the way across

Soy wax has memory. Get the most out of your candle by allowing it enough time to melt to the edge. This can take anywhere between 2-4 hours.

Someone should be home to watch the candles

Always keep an eye on your candles. You never want to leave a flame unattended.
